Recently, the first round of the final of the 4th National College Students' Innovation and Practice Ability Competition on Municipal Environment was successfully concluded. The third team of Shijiazhuang University, composed of students Wang Xuxing, Ma Jianguo and Fan Shixiao from Zihuan College of our university, performed well and won the second prize of the group successfully.

The National College Students' Innovative Practical Ability Competition on Municipal Environment is co-sponsored by Harbin Institute of Technology, Tongji University and Eco-environmental Industry-Education Alliance. It aims to tap and cultivate college students' innovative practical ability in the field of municipal environmental protection, promote the reform of laboratory teaching in colleges and universities in China, and promote practical education. The contest attracted college students from all over the country to participate actively. After fierce competition in the preliminary round, 50 outstanding teams were selected from 1423 teams in five national competition areas to participate in the final.

The school attached great importance to this competition, which started in March last year and went through three stages: school competition, North China competition and national competition. Zihuan College actively prepared, mobilized outstanding students to participate and gave professional training guidance, which laid a solid foundation for the competition to achieve excellent results. The three finalists were enthusiastic and actively prepared for the war. In the final, they completed the design of a sewage treatment plant in a city in North China, built a 3D layout, and drew hand-drawn drawings and CAD drawings. The members of shijiazhuang university No.3 Team won the high recognition of the judges and won the honor for the university with their solid professionalism and excellent teamwork ability.

This competition and winning the prize fully demonstrated the excellent professional skills and innovative practical ability of our students. It is the fruit of the training of first-class applied talents in our university, and it is of positive significance to improve the training quality of applied talents in our university and improve the visibility of our university.
