In order to actively implement the development strategy of strengthening the provincial capital and build an education platform that serves the prosperity and development of the provincial capital's educational and cultural undertakings, on the afternoon of May 6, the School of Literature and History invited the vice chairman of the Hebei Writers Association, the vice chairman of the Hebei Zhongshan Culture Research Association, Cheng Xueli, chairman of the Shijiazhuang Writers Association, to unveil the "Shijiazhuang Literature and History Research and Creation Center" jointly established by the two parties and held a special lecture. Chen Liang, secretary of the school's party committee, and Hu Xiaoguang, vice president, attended the event. More than 280 people in charge of the scientific research department, the school of literature and history, the library and other departments, as well as representatives of teachers and students of related majors participated in the event.

Before the unveiling ceremony, Chen Liang and representatives of cadres and teachers held a discussion with Cheng Xueli on the establishment of the "Shijiazhuang Literature and History Research and Creation Center" jointly held by the school and the Municipal Writers Association. Chen Liang pointed out that the school party committee actively seized the major opportunity of the provincial party committee and the provincial government to implement the strategy of strengthening the provincial capital, formulate and implement the "1396" development strategy in light of the actual situation, and united and led the majority of cadres, teachers and students in improving the comprehensive school-running strength, meeting the needs of regional economic and social development. In terms of strengthening the ability to serve the provincial capital and other aspects, we will work hard and forge ahead, and start a new journey for the development of a first-class application-oriented university with six major scenarios including the "Cultural Stone Academy". He hopes to take the opportunity of jointly building the "Shijiazhuang Literature and History Research and Creation Center" to deepen the practical cooperation of "three in one" research, creation, and education, build an education platform for researching Shijiazhuang's regional history and carry out humanistic creation, and promote the linkage between writers and universities. Guide and cultivate young students based on the literature and history of the provincial capital, tell the story of Shijiazhuang well, and spread the culture of Shijiazhuang. Cheng Xueli spoke highly of Shijiazhuang University's fruitful achievements in personnel training, social services, and cultural inheritance in recent years. She briefly introduced the basic composition of the Municipal Writers Association, its registered members and works, and the creation and dissemination of major projects around Shijiazhuang's humanistic history. She hopes that the "Shijiazhuang Literature and History Research and Creation Center" will become a good platform for cultivating high-level literary talents in the new era, carrying out Shijiazhuang literature and history research and creation, education and training, and creating a better environment and conditional support for the growth of young literary talents in Shijiazhuang.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Chen Liang and Cheng Xueli jointly unveiled the Shijiazhuang Literature and History Research and Creation Center; Hu Xiaoguang issued a letter of appointment to Cheng Xueli as a specially-appointed professor; Cheng Xueli donated "Looking for Pingshan Mission", "Homeland Zhongshan", "Shining Red Star" and "Taihang Little Soldiers" to the Shijiazhuang Literature and History Research and Creation Center and other masterpieces. Subsequently, Cheng Xueli gave a special lecture entitled "Finding the Brightness of Literature from History" for the cadres, teachers and students on site. Based on Yanzhao culture and Shijiazhuang regional humanities, the lecture tells how to create literary masterpieces based on local culture from the perspective of professional writers, and interprets the origins of realistic works and historical culture. Cheng Xueli combined her research on ancient Zhongshan country culture and the creation process of works such as "Looking for the Pingshan Mission" and "Hutuo Sons and Daughters" to share Shijiazhuang's historical humanities and literary creation experience of corresponding themes, inspiring writing inspirations, expanding writing talents and opening up literature for university teachers and students. The road to creation was professionally guided. The lecture was full of classics, full of voice and emotion, and was well received by the cadres, teachers and students present.

After the ceremony, the two parties conducted in-depth communication on the development orientation, basic functions, management operation, and development planning of the "Shijiazhuang Literature and History Research and Creation Center", and reached a consensus on the cooperation plan.
