The autumn wind is light, and the New Year is the new season. On September 7, our school ushered in more than 4,000 freshmen of grade 2023. All the school leaders led the heads of relevant functional departments to warmly welcome the new students at the registration site, and kindly visited the new students and sympathized with the new staff and student volunteers.

The new welcome scene showed a thriving new atmosphere, a bright welcome banner fluttering in the wind, a unique welcome billboard placed neatly, rows of warm welcome booths dedicated service, an interesting photo card filling ceremony, the high-definition screen at the school gate displayed Shijiazhuang University promotional film and Shijiazhuang University’s 1396 development strategy. The animated promotional video was played on a loop, full of the most sincere welcome and blessing to the new students. Each college carefully arranged the welcome booth and carried out the unique welcome interaction. The exquisite and bright gift package had been prepared, the detailed information of the counselors and volunteers carefully guided the new students to feel at home as soon as they entered the school.

The school leaders warmly shook hands with the freshmen and their parents and took photos, communicated and exchanged ideas with the parents of the students, and sent a birthday cake to the freshmen who reported their birthday on the day of registration, wishing them a happy birthday and academic success. When sending feelings to the freshmen, Chen Liang, the Party secretary, put forward ardent expectations for them. He said that, “I hope you can adapt to the new campus life as soon as possible, cherish the good time of the university, think and learn, and strive to grow into a talented person.”

The school attaches great importance to the orientation work, holding the orientation coordination meeting, overall planning, careful deployment, clear division of relevant functional departments, firmly establish the concept of people-oriented, and further strengthen the accuracy and meticulousness of the orientation work. The whole orientation atmosphere is warm and orderly, the registration link is simple and smooth, and effectively take care of students and serve students.
