Squat hard and work hard. Continue to sound the "second entrepreneurship" charge horn, the school's various undertakings show an upward trend of good development.

Looking back at 2023, we gather momentum and plan for the future.

This year, we adhere to the leadership of party building, condensing the heart and casting the soul, and the new development of first-class party building enabling schools. Study ideology, strengthen the party spirit, focus on practice, build new achievements, and solidly promote thematic education to go deep and solid. Highlight the "four first-class" Party building organization system, select the best and strengthen the middle-level leadership, and promote the youth of the cadre team. Condense the school spirit, teaching style, learning style, and carry out activities such as elegant art into the campus. Actively create a political ecology, cadres, teachers and officers entrepreneurial spirit more full.

This year, we focused on audit and evaluation, devoted efforts, and made new progress in education and teaching. We completed the audit and evaluation of undergraduate education of the Ministry of Education with high quality. We successfully passed the evaluation and acceptance of Hebei Province master's degree awarding project construction unit. Accurately docking with five hundred billion industrial clusters in the provincial capital, and continuously adjusting and optimizing the discipline and professional structure. Six majors have passed the acceptance of provincial first-class undergraduate majors, six new provincial first-class undergraduate courses, two majors have passed the second-level certification of normal majors of the Ministry of Education, and two majors have been approved as application-oriented transformation demonstration majors in Hebei Province.

This year, we focused on strengthening the school with talents, introducing and training, and the construction of teaching staff showed new achievements. Wu Yiling, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was appointed honorary Director of the Academic Committee. Vigorously implement the "13510" plan, and build a reserve talent pool of young cadre teachers. 35 doctors were recruited, accounting for 29.5% of the total. It was approved as the "Huang Danian Teacher Team of Hebei University", the Shijiazhuang Famous Teacher Innovation Studio, and the teachers won the first "the most beautiful educational craftsman" in Shijiazhuang.

This year, we strengthen brand awareness, innovation, moral achievements to achieve a new leap. Carry out the brand construction of "One institute, one product" ideological and political education, create and form the practical teaching system of "five modernization coordination" ideological and political courses, and create the characteristic education brand of Niushan Academy. The students won the first prize in the "Challenge Cup" competition of the national college students, and the Education Care Service Group was rated as the national demonstration team of the "three trips to the countryside" social practice activities of college and secondary school students. The employment rate of graduates ranks among the top of undergraduate universities in the province.

In the past year, we strengthened the organization of scientific research, stimulated vitality, and raised the level of scientific and technological innovation to a new level. 3 projects were approved by the National Natural Science Foundation, and 2 projects were unveiled. The introduction of funds exceeded 30 million yuan, a record high. Four new provincial research platforms and three municipal research platforms were added, and the Key Laboratory of iot Blockchain Integration in Hebei Province was included in the management sequence of provincial discipline key laboratories. The teacher won the third prize of Science and Technology Progress of Hebei Province.

This year, we targeted local needs, made precise efforts, and made new breakthroughs in local service capabilities. The Three-year Action Plan for Comprehensively Connecting the Construction and Development of provincial capitals was issued. Comprehensive strategic cooperation agreements were signed with 21 counties and urban areas, including Zhengding County and Zanhuang County. Approved 4 "county characteristic industry promotion projects", carried out the "100 doctor into the enterprise into the park" activity, and selected 352 provincial and municipal science and technology special commissioners into the enterprise matching support. Led the establishment of Hebei Carbon Peak Carbon neutral Research Society, the establishment of provincial capital Construction and Development Research Institute, digital Economy Research Institute and other think tanks, appeared in the China International Digital Economy Expo.

This year, we adhere to the open school, learn from the strengths of others, international school took on a new look. More efforts have been made to open up the school. Italy's Conservatory of Music, South Korea's Akatsuk University and Singapore's Chartered Institute of Science and Technology visited the school, and signed an inter-school cooperation memorandum with Italy's Institute of Applied Arts and Design. We will deepen cooperation with other countries and hold various forms of cultural and people-to-people exchanges. Actively exert their own advantages and take the initiative to connect with the international construction of the provincial capital. The school was awarded the advanced collective of international education exchange in Hebei Province.

This year, we have built a quality campus, upgraded the file, and the happiness of teachers and students has been improved. We carried out a special campaign to purify the campus, strengthened the comprehensive improvement of safety, and continued to improve the campus environment. Completed the delivery of the training building, the expansion of Leda International Art College, the renovation of the faculty restaurant, the upgrading of the university student service center, the upgrading of the innovation and entrepreneurship incubation park, the launch of the campus panoramic VR tour, the optimization of the library space layout and other projects, teachers and students have more sense of gain, happiness and belonging.

All the past is a prologue; All the future, there is a future. Looking back on 2023, we gathered our strength and forged ahead, witnessed many highlight moments in the development of the school's career, and wrote a high-quality development of the "Stone Courtyard Answer Paper" in the new era. Looking ahead to 2024 We are full of pride and motivation. We have the confidence and ability to shape the new momentum and new advantages of the development of the university, and promote the university to achieve new leaps in various undertakings.
