In order to conduct better village assistance work, further consolidate the results of poverty alleviation and to effectively connect them with rural revitalization, Secretary of the School Party Committee Chen Liang, Deputy Party Secretary Wang Xibo, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection Ji Lihuai, Vice President Li Juan went to Anli Village, Pingshan County to investigate the village assistance work and conveyed greetings to the crew sent by the school there. Some related personnel of the School Office and the Organization Department went along.

Chen Liang confirmed the recent results in the assistance work there and put forward some requirements as well. First, crew members should strengthen the sense of responsibility and fulfill their duty actively. They should study and fully take in President Xi’s idea on the “Three Rural Issues”, conscientiously implement poverty alleviation and rural revitalization work and resolutely shoulder the political responsibility of village assistance, and make full use of our talent, education, science and technology advantages to promote the work in party organization and construction, industrial development, construction of beautiful village and so on. Second, they should promote the cooperation between the school and the local government with higher quality and faster pace, taking village assistance work as a pivot for the “1396” strategy and for the cooperating with local economic and social development, actively implementing the comprehensive strategic agreement signed by our school and Pingshan County, and promoting an integrated development among the "government, industry, academia, research and utilization". Third, young cadres should strengthen their own ability to grow and flourish. They should pay attention to political theory learning and professional improvement so that to adapt to new situation and new tasks. Crew members should learn to relieve young village cadres’ stress by helping and supporting them in various ways to help them grow up quickly.

Chen Liang and other school leaders inspected the work in the road building, environmental improvement, and edible fungi greenhouses transformation, etc, and listened carefully to the work report. They also visited and sent regards to the poverty-stricken households in the village.

The inspection work gave the crew members confidence and courage, and they are much clear with the next step in the work. They said that they will unswervingly implement the school’s “1396” development strategy, bearing in mind the party committee’s mandate, and will help the village work with scientific planning and sustainable efforts. They are sure to see the effect of the village revitalization in the village of Anli with their solid and constant promotion there.
