To commemorate the 20th anniversary of promotion, carry forward Lei Feng spirit, strengthen students’ sense of ownership, and assist the zooming of campus sanitory environment, the Youth League Committee, led by the Logistics Management Office, organized the volunteer service teams in the north and south campus to carry out the special action of “commemorating the 20th anniversary of promotion and looking back on campus purification” from March 21 to March 30. The volunteers cleaned up the garbage, dead leaves, waste materials and other residues in the green belt, lawn, fence bottom and other areas .

More than 1,300 student volunteers participated in the 10-day action. Adhering to the concept of “For beautiful SJZU, I take action first”, the volunteers strived to be the “master of SJZU”, actively practiced the service spirit of “unity, friendship, mutual assistance and progress”. They cooperated with Logistics Property Company in the cleaning. The action was well-organized and efficient, presenting a comfortable and fresh learning and living environment for teachers and students, and fully showing the image of good youth in the new era — “having ideals, being brave to take responsibilities, being able to bear hardships and being willing to struggle”.
