In order to deepen the study and promotion of Patriotic Education Law of the People's Republic of China, implement the university's "1396" development strategy, and promote patriotic education, the University Youth League Committee recently organized various grassroots youth organizations to carry out the theme education of "Casting the Soul· 2024·Worshiping Heroes and Martyrs on Tombwiping Day".

The University Youth League Committee and Student Union organized major student cadres to study the Patriotic Education Law of the People's Republic of China seriously, and went to the Martyrs Cemetery of the North China Military Region to carry out themed education.The students presented flowers to the Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial and solemnly swore and reviewed their oath of joining the Communist Youth League in front of the monument.

The Youth League Branch from School of Journalism and Media, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Foreign Languages, School of Future Information Technology, School of Literature and History, School of Music, School of International Exchange, School of Geographic Science and Environment, School of Chemical Engineering and School of Biomedical Engineering actively organized students to carry out theme education such as commemorating martyrs, telling red stories, and promoting revolutionary traditions in red education main positions and patriotic education bases such as the Gaocheng Plum Blossom Massacre Memorial Hall, the Jingxing Mining Area Manhole Memorial Hall, and the Liberation Shijiazhuang Martyrs Cemeter. They guided young students to revisit the history of the Party and the new China.

The Youth League Branch from School of Law and Society, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Economics and Management, School of Science, School of Physical Education, School of Literature and History, School of Art and Design, School of Teacher Education organized students to pay their respect and nostalgia to the martyrs through various means such as offering flowers, leaving messages, watching videos of their deeds, participating in theme discussions, browsing heroic deeds and touching stories on the Chinese Martyrs Network.

The Youth League General Branch organizes themed group lesson learning and themed group day activities, earnestly studied the "Four Histories", learns the general secretary Xi Jinping important discourse about learning heroic models, and guided students to deeply understand the era value of heroic spirit.

Through the theme education of "Casting the Soul·2024·Worshiping Heroes and Martyrs on Tombwiping Day", the students commemorate revolutionary martyrs, promote revolutionary spirit, inherit red culture, and keep in mind their original mission. They deeply understand that the spirit of revolutionary martyrs is a precious treasure on the path forward. As young people in the new era, the students have the responsibility and obligation to inherit and promote the spirit of martyrs, advocate heroes, and work hard to learn scientific and cultural knowledge and improve one's own qualities and abilities, contribute to the strength of the country and the happiness of the people, and live up to the times and youth!
