Recently, the results of the 7th “Public Welfare Pioneers” theme activity of the “Volunteer Dedication to the Grassroots Youth to Rejuvenation” organized by the “Volunteer Exchange” platform were announced, and our university won the Excellent Organization Award and the title of Top 100 National Universities.

The “Volunteer Hui” platform is the mobile application end of the “Volunteer China” information system, and is a leading volunteer service application platform built and operated under the guidance of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. More than 910,000 students from 465 colleges and universities across the country participated in this public welfare activity. The purpose of the event is to further lead young volunteers to devote themselves to the great cause of grassroots social governance, rural revitalization, strong country construction, and national rejuvenation, and to practice the volunteer spirit of “dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance, and progress” with youth actions, make contributions to the high-quality development of volunteer service in the new era, and contribute to the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country and the comprehensive promotion of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The Youth League Committee of our university attaches great importance to this work, and makes overall arrangements for the college student volunteer service center to widely mobilize students to participate, and through the daily completion of six task sections, “volunteer practice”, “volunteer growth”, “volunteer style”, “volunteer rights”, “volunteers” and “random surprise tasks”, and combines theory and practice in the actual volunteer service work, and carries out online + offline linkage work, which greatly stimulates the enthusiasm of young volunteers to participate in volunteer service activities. Next, the Youth League Committee will further implement the volunteer service work, and lead the young volunteers of our university to take this award as an opportunity to continue to actively practice the spirit of volunteerism with youth actions, so that the youth can bloom in the fiery practice of building a strong country and rejuvenating the nation!
