On the morning of May 8th, Director Guo Dongmei from the Normal Education Department of the Hebei Provincial Department of Education and Zhang Jie, the first-level principal staff member of the Normal Education Department, came to our university to investigate and guide the construction of normal majors, the cultivation of normal students, and the national and provincial teacher training programs. Party Secretary Chen Liang and Vice President Li Juan attended the event, and personnel from relevant departments and colleges also participated in the investigation.

Director Guo Dongmei and her delegation visited the practical training center for teachers' professional skills in our university, conducting a survey and inspection of the skill training situation of our normal students. On behalf of the university, Chen Liang expressed a warm welcome to Director Guo Dongmei and her delegation, and briefly introduced the university's educational orientation, the "1396" development strategy, and the current status of teacher education.

During the investigation and discussion meeting, Li Juan briefly introduced the overall situation of our university's education; Wang Junqi, the director of the Academic Affairs Office, reported on the construction of normal majors in our university; Pang Junli, the deputy secretary of the Party General Branch of the Teacher Education School, reported on the cultivation of normal students in the Teacher Education School; Wang Lei, the vice president of the Continuing Education School, reported on the national and provincial teacher training programs in our university. Guo Dongmei conducted detailed exchanges with the participants on issues such as professional certification for normal majors and the cultivation of public-funded normal students.

Guo Dongmei highly affirmed our university's adherence to the essence of normal education, its deep roots in the provincial capital, and its services to the local area, as well as the significant contribution it has made to the development of basic education in Shijiazhuang. She expressed that the Normal Education Department will strongly support the future construction and development of Shijiazhuang University, and looks forward to the university further optimizing and strengthening its normal majors, striving to create unique features and achieve better results in the cultivation of normal students as well as national and provincial teacher training programs.
