On May 19, the Hebei Division semi-finals of the 10th National Youth Science Popularization Innovation Competition, hosted by Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Association and the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, and co-organized by Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Museum, Qinhuangdao Science and Technology Association and Yanshan University, came to an end. Three projects from our school were shortlisted and won two first prizes and one second prize.

The National Youth Science Popularization Innovation Competition aims to mobilize and encourage young students to participate in science popularization creation and practice, promote the dissemination and popularization of scientific ideas, scientific spirit, scientific methods and scientific knowledge, and improve the innovation and creativity of young students. The competition was launched in February 2024 and attracted 683 teams from 11 cities across the province. Among them, a total of 493 teams from 43 universities in the province participated in the creative works category. The projects submitted by our school won high praise from the judges for its unique creativity, rigorous experimental design and excellent on-site presentation, fully demonstrating the innovative spirit and practical ability of our students.
