Our School Held the School-level Defense of Undergraduate Graduation Thesis (Design) in 2024

In order to strengthen the whole process management of undergraduate graduation thesis (design) and improve the quality of undergraduate graduation thesis (design), our school held the school-level defense of the 2024 undergraduate graduation thesis (design) on May 24. This school-level defense selected 48 graduates randomly from 24 majors to conduct on-site defense, and hired school-level supervisory committee and related professional backbone teachers to serve as defense judges. In the field of thesis defense, the students had a serious attitude, sufficient preparation and s demonstration. They elaborated on the graduation thesis (design) from the aspects of the background and basis of the topic selection, research methods and content, and research conclusions, etc. They showed the graduation thesis (design) results to the defense teachers through PPT report, content display and other forms, and answered the teacher's questions based on the research results. The students responded with clear ideas, relevant answers and fluent expressions, showing solid professional ability and good professional quality. With a rigorous and realistic attitude, the defense teachers strictly request, carefully review and comprehensively evaluate, investigate the significance of the topic selection, research methods, writing arrangements, logical construction, professional ability and academic norms, put forward targeted questions, and give suggestions and suggestions for revision.
During the thesis defense, relevant leaders of the Academic Affairs Office and secondary colleges were present for investigation and guidance, fully affirmed the performance of the students, and sent sincere blessings to the senior students who are about to graduate and enter a new journey in life. I hope the students can have some understanding and progress academically through the graduation defense. The serious and rigorous attitude towards graduation thesis (design) will be extended to the future study and work, and achieve better and greater results.
Graduation thesis (design) is the most important comprehensive practice teaching link in talent training, and is an important channel to train students' practical ability, innovation ability, theory and practice ability. The school plans to make good thesis guidance, process control, defense quality, and the "last pass" of talent training. In the future, the school will further strengthen the management of the graduation thesis process, strictly implement the instructor responsibility system, standardize the overall planning of the graduation thesis (design), the assignment of instructor, topic selection, proposal, teacher guidance, mid-term inspection, defense, data archiving and other aspects of the whole process, so as to comprehensively improve the quality of the undergraduate graduation thesis (design) of our school. Contribute to the training of high quality applied talents.
