On July 11th, Party Secretary Chen Liang and Vice President Yao Zhenjun of our university led a team to Wuji County to sign the strategic cooperation agreement. Feng Lixin, Secretary of Wuji County Party Committee, Liu Yan, Magistrate of Wuji County, Yan Feng, Deputy Secretary of Wuji County Party Committee, Lu Weiqing, Standing Committee Member and Office Director of Wuji County Party Committee, Feng Suju, Standing Committee Member and Executive Deputy Magistrate of Wuji County, Liu Yunzhi, Deputy Magistrate of Wuji County and leading officials from relevant departments of Wuji County, our university and schools attended the signing ceremony.

 

The signing ceremony was held in Shijiazhuang Education and Research Base of School of Economics of Peking University. Liu Yan introduced the relevant situation of Wuji County and the “3+N” modern industrial system, and Yao Zhenjun introduced the overall situation of our university and the “1396” development strategy.

Feng Lixin, on behalf of Wuji County Party Committee and County Government, expressed gratitude to our university for its attention and support to Wuji County. He hoped that both parties used the signing of the cooperation agreement as an opportunity to give full play to the talent, professional, and disciplinary advantages of Shijiazhuang University as well as the resource, ecological, and industrial advantages of Wuji County, to carry out deeper, higher dimensional, and more sustainable cooperation, to consolidate the strength of the university and local areas, and to carry out practical cooperation in talent cultivation, industrial development, scientific and technological innovation, education and training, and assisting enterprises to take off, jointly creating a new chapter in university-local cooperation.

Chen Liang said that the strategic positioning and development goals of Shijiazhuang University and Wuji County were highly compatible. He wished that both sides could take this signing as an opportunity to expand cooperation areas, innovate cooperation models, and achieve complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win results. Our university would fully leverage our advantages in disciplines, scientific research, talents and other aspects, closely focus on the economic and social development needs of Wuji County, actively carry out interactive exchanges and cooperation, and provide strong intellectual support and talent guarantee for the economic and social development of Wuji County. Meanwhile, he expected that Wuji County Party Committee and County Government could continue to care for and support the development of Shijiazhuang University, jointly promote the bilateral cooperation and continuously achieve new and greater results.

Subsequently, Yao Zhenjun, on behalf of our university, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Feng Suju.

 

Before the signing ceremony, Chen Liang and the delegation visited Shijiazhuang Shangtai Technology Co., Ltd, China Wuji Leather Recycling Innovation Industry Base, and Shijiazhuang Education and Research Base of School of Economics of Peking University, and conducted interactive communication on related issues with relevant departments and enterprise leaders of Wuji County.
