On the morning of July 11, Zhao Yongqiang, Vice President of Hebei University of Geosciences, and his delegation came to our university for exchange and discussion on discipline construction and graduate training. Feng Baoqiang, Vice President of our university attended and presided over the meeting. Some leaders from Graduate Education Development Center, School of Chemical Engineering, School of Law and Society, School of Science, School of Future Information Technology, School of Economics and Management also attended the symposium.

At the meeting, Feng Baoqiang expressed his sincere welcome to the arrival of Zhao Yongqiang and his delegation, sincerely thanked Hebei University of Geosciences for its concern and support for Shijiazhuang University all the time, and made a brief introduction to the characteristics of the university, the construction of disciplines and degree sites, and graduate training. Feng Baoqiang pointed out that our university takes normal education as its base, uses the profound historical background and excellent humanistic quality of the normal major to infiltrate the applied talents training, and forms the characteristics of high-quality applied talents training. Based on the characteristics and advantages of the university's disciplines and programs, we will promote organized scientific research, strengthen the transformation of results, and strive to improve the ability of disciplines and programs to serve regional economic and social development. With the joint training of graduate students as the starting point, we strengthen the construction of teaching staff, which lays a solid foundation for the work of applying for the master's degree. It is hoped that the two sides will take this forum as an opportunity to further deepen friendship, enhance exchanges, deepen cooperation at more levels and seek common development.

 

Zhao Yongqiang introduced the development history, educational conditions, teaching staff, disciplines and personnel training of Hebei University of Geosciences. He pointed out that as brother colleges, the professional Settings of the two universities have a high degree of compatibility, and there is a broad space for cooperation. He hopes to strengthen cooperation with Shijiazhuang University in discipline construction, graduate training, and local service.

After the symposium, the relevant departments and some secondary schools of the two universities had one-on-one exchanges, and visited the history museum of our university together.
