On July 21, the Party Committee of the university convenes a special study session of the theoretical study center group to study the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law. The study session was presided by Secretary of Party Committee Chen Liang.

It is believed that the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee is an extremely important meeting held at a critical period in the comprehensive advancement of building a strong nation and the great cause of national rejuvenation with Chinese-style modernization. The study session reviewed and passed the “Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Further Comprehensive Deepening of Reform and Promoting Chinese-Style Modernization,” which scientifically planned the systematic deployment for further comprehensive deepening of reform around Chinese-style modernization. It demonstrates the strong determination and historical responsibility of the Party Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, to carry the reform through to the end. It is a reiteration of what flag to carry and what path to take in the new era and on the new journey. It has significant and far-reaching implications for comprehensively advancing the construction of a strong nation and the great cause of national rejuvenation with Chinese-style modernization.

 

Chen Liang emphasized that it is necessary to effectively carry out the study, propaganda, and implementation of the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee, deeply understand and grasp the theme, major principles, significant measures, and fundamental guarantees of further comprehensive deepening of reform. We must more loyally defend the "Two Establishments" and resolutely implement the "Two Maintenances", and apply the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee and the policy decisions to the high-quality development of the university. First, we need to quickly create a surge of study and propaganda throughout the entire school. We should adhere to leadership by example, coordinate planning, and carefully organize to ensure the transmission of learning, propaganda, lectures, educational training, and research interpretation, effectively enhancing the political, ideological, and practical consciousness of the faculty and students in further comprehensive deepening of reform. Second, we must transform the results of our study into the driving force for development. We should closely integrate the study and implementation o6595tf the spirit of the full meeting with the implementation of the school's "1396" development strategy, convert the results of our study into concreting ideas and measures for practical work, and promote a more comprehensive system for party governance, school management, and moral education, injecting inexhaustible motivation into the new journey of building a first-class applied university. Third, we should promote the high-quality development of the school through all-around reform and innovation. We need to deeply understand the essence of the spirit of the full meeting, seek breakthroughs and development in the school's connotation construction, deepening of reform, and strict implementation, and with a higher position, broader vision, stronger responsibility, and more practical measures, we should continue to reform and tackle key areas such as professional construction layout, talent training methods, external exchange and cooperation, scientific research innovation systems, and evaluation and incentive mechanisms, to provide a strong guarantee for the high-quality development of the school.
