From July 31 to August 6, the first National vocal Music Exhibition of 2024, sponsored by the Chinese Musicians Association, the Publicity Department of Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Hebei Federation of Literature and Art Circles, and the Government of Shijiazhuang, was successfully concluded in our city. As one of the co-organizers, Leda International Art College of our university successfully completed the work of the Youth Group (Bel Canto) live performance, which was praised highly by provincial and municipal leaders, the organizing committee of the event, and the experts of the judges.

 

The performance was chaired by Professor Wang Zhen, Chairman of Shaanxi Musicians Association, and Professor Dilbèr, opera artist and Central Conservatory of Music. More than ten famous singers and educators in China，such as Professor Yang Yan, Director of the Opera Center in Xinghai Conservatory of Music, and Vice Chairman of Guangdong Musicians Association, Professor Zhu Huiling, School of Music in Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), opera performance artist and first class actor Yang Xiaoyong, Fan Jingma, the advocate of National Fengya Song, Professor Song Bo of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Professor Xie Tian, Director of the Department of Sound and Song of Central Conservatory of Music, opera performer Xue Haoyin, Professor of China Conservatory of Music, opera performer Dai Yuqiang, dean of Henan Conservatory of Music of Zhengzhou University, formed a professional jury team.

The exhibition lasted for 5 days and was divided into three rounds. Eighty young singers from all over the country gathered in our university to show their musical talent in the form of solo singing. Zhao Zehao, teacher from Leda International Art Academy, participated in the competition, and Shi Chaoran served as the host of the event.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the exhibition work, the leadership team of Leda International Art Academy attaches great importance to it and works closely with relevant functional departments to formulate a detailed work plan, including the planning of the event, venue layout, security, guest reception, publicity and promotion to logistics support and other aspects of careful deployment and preparation. They organized more than 30 teachers and students as volunteer service personnel. The relevant personnel have been trained, and the high-quality competition environment and efficient service have been provided for the participants, and the quality of the activity has been fully guaranteed.

This is the first time that Leda International Academy of Arts co-organized a national vocal music competition. The College will take this opportunity to continue to give full play to its professional advantages and characteristics, continue to improve students’ comprehensive literacy and professional skills, continue to deepen school-local cooperation, and provide support for promoting the cultural construction of the provincial capital.
