From August 8th to 12th, the finals of the 17th China College Students Computer Design Contest in Artificial Intelligence Applications ("Newland" Cup) and International Students' "Sinology" were held at Southeast University in Nanjing. The entry of our international students, "The Inheritance of Battle Drums", after going through rounds of competitions at the school and provincial levels, was the only international students' "Sinology" team recommended from Hebei Province to the national competition, and ultimately won the third prize in the national competition.

The entry of our international students, "The Inheritance of Battle Drums", is a digital media work that tells the story of foreign students' love and serious study of "Changshan Battle Drums", a Chinese intangible cultural heritage. The audio-visual work leads the audience to appreciate the profound heritage and unique charm of China's intangible cultural heritage, and think about how to better inherit and promote it in modern society, and how to enable international students to become messengers of mutual learning and cultural exchange, tell Chinese stories better, and let traditional Chinese culture further go global and shine with more brilliant brilliance.

This was the first time that our international students participated in the China College Students Computer Design Contest. The International Exchange and Cooperation Center (International Exchange College) attached great importance to it. The instructor team carefully taught and guided the participating students, overcame difficulties, actively prepared for the competition, worked in unity and cooperation, innovated and improved the works, and responded confidently and calmly to various questions in the national competition defense session, completing the competition with high quality.

This participation fully demonstrated the excellent sense of unity and cooperation, practical ability and innovative spirit of teachers and students. It is also a substantive measure of the International Exchange and Cooperation Center (International Exchange College) to actively create the scenarios of "Striving Shijiazhuang University", "Cultural Shijiazhuang University" and "Open Shijiazhuang University".
