Recently, the results of the national finals of the 18th National Business Elite Challenge Severn Travel and Exhibition Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Competition were announced. A team of 5 students, including Bu Yuwei and Wang Jiaqi, from the School of Journalism and Media, won the first prize in the “New Forms of Tourism” group.

The “National Business Elite Challenge for Tourism and Exhibition Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Competition” has been included in the discipline whitelist ranking of the Ministry of Education for many consecutive years, and is the only national top competition in the field of business education for tourism and exhibition direction included in the list. The competition was launched in April 2024 and lasted for 8 months, attracting nearly 12,000 teams and more than 60,000 students (including knowledge competition) from 756 universities.

The School of Journalism and Media will continue to encourage students to participate in various high-level discipline competitions to promote training, learning and teaching, and strive to achieve more excellent results.
