On December 4th, the second annual conference for the integrated construction of ideological and political courses of schools in Shijiazhuang and collective preparation of instruction, organized by SJZU and the Education Bureau of Chang'an District, was held in Shijiazhuang Hantang Heya Primary School. More than 150 members including the expert guidance group for the integrated construction of ideological and political courses as well as researchers and instructors, vice presidents and teacher representatives of ideological and political courses from nearly 100 member units of the five regional alliances for the integrated construction of ideological and political courses attended the conference.

The conference kicked off with the exhibition of achievements in the integration of ideological and political courses in Chang'an District. Hao Yongzhi, Deputy District Mayor of Chang'an District Government, and Li Juan, Vice President of SJZU, delivered speeches. Zhao Lifen, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Education Working Committee, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Municipal Education Bureau, summarized the practical achievements of the integrated construction of ideological and political courses in primary and middle schools as well as universities and colleges in SJZ over the past year, and clarified 2025’s working plans from the aspect of "three consciousnesses", "three orientations" and "three advantages".

At the conference, the attending leaders issued appointment letters to representatives of the expert guidance group for the integration of ideological and political courses, and held a ceremony to launch the virtual teaching and research room platform for the integration of ideological and political courses.

Professor Chen Peiyong, Vice Dean and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Marxism at Peking University, Professor Yan Guohua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism at China University of Mining and Technology, and Professor Wang Hai, Dean of the School of Marxism of Hebei University, were invited to give lectures at the conference. At the same time, Wang Yuanyuan, the director of the editorial department and deputy editor of the magazine "Ideological and Political Course Teaching" at Beijing Normal University, was invited to give a lecture on the current situation and trends of research on the integration of ideological and political courses in primary and middle schools as well as universities and colleges from a scientific research perspective.

SJZU, together with the leading units of the five regional alliances including Chang'an District Education Bureau, Qiaoxi District Education Bureau, Xinhua District Education Bureau, and Yuhua District Education Bureau, organized subforums and shared typical experiences and practices in the integration of ideological and political courses in our regional alliances at the conference. Members also exchanged highlights of coordination and linkage and proposed future work ideas.

The purpose of this conference is to promote the effective connection of ideological and political courses in primary and middle schools as well as universities and colleges in SJZ through collective preparation of instruction and exhibition discussions, gradually build a new pattern of "macro ideological and political courses" that is open, inclusive, and interconnected, further enhance the educational and teaching capabilities of ideological and political teachers and educators in primary and middle schools as well as universities and colleges in SJZ, promote the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory courses in SJZ, and continuously consolidate the achievements of the integration of macro ideological and political education.
