On April 2nd, our school held the 2025 Conference on Comprehensive Strict Governance of the Party and Warning Education, deeply implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the Fifth Plenary Session of the 10th Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, the Fifth Plenary Session of the 11th Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, and the Provincial Conference on Comprehensive Strict Governance of the Party in the Education System. School leaders Chen Liang, Wang Yongqin, Ji Lihuai, Yao Zhenjun, Feng Baoqiang, Li Juan, and Li Huilin attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Principal Wang Yongqin.

At the meeting, Party Secretary Chen Liang delivered a speech titled “Deepening the Comprehensive Strict Governance of the Party and Anti Corruption Struggle to Provide Strong Guarantees for Writing a New Chapter of High Quality Development of the School”. Chen Liang pointed out that in 2024, the school party committee will deeply implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important ideas on party building and self revolution, firmly promote the construction of party conduct and clean governance, and fight against corruption, persistently purify the political ecology, and continuously improve the party conduct, political conduct, teacher ethics, school conduct, and academic atmosphere, achieving significant results in comprehensively governing the party strictly.

Chen Liang emphasized that 2025 is an important year for the conclusion of the 14th Five Year Plan, the planning of the 15th Five Year Plan, and further deepening of reforms. It is also a crucial year for accelerating the implementation of the 1396 development strategy and consolidating and improving the quality of connotative development. All levels of party organizations and party members and cadres in the whole school must resolutely unify their thoughts and actions with the major decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the work requirements of the provincial and municipal committees, accurately grasp the situation of comprehensive strict governance of the Party and anti-corruption struggle, further enhance their sense of responsibility and mission, adhere to the spirit of reform and strict standards to manage the Party, and firmly implement the political responsibility of managing the Party. Chen Liang put forward five requirements for doing a good job in this year’s work: firstly, to focus on strengthening theoretical armament, ensuring the unity of thought, will, and action with theoretical clarity and firmness; Secondly, we should focus on strengthening discipline construction, in order to integrate it into daily work and consolidate and deepen the achievements of party discipline learning and education; Thirdly, we must focus on eradicating soil conditions and promote the deepening of the integration of positive and anti-corruption measures through systematic governance; Fourth, we must focus on improving governance efficiency to implement reform tasks and promote the establishment of a comprehensive and strict system for governing the Party; We must focus on cultivating a culture of honesty and integrity, and promote the creation of a good educational atmosphere through the special action of “Three Winds” construction. All levels of party organizations and leading cadres in the school should be aware of their responsibilities, take on their duties, and fulfill their duties. They should improve and perfect the system of joint management and accountability, firmly advance the comprehensive strict governance of the party and the fight against corruption, and provide strong guarantees for writing a new chapter of high-quality development for the school with practical achievements.

Wang Yongqin emphasized that all party branches, directly affiliated party branches, departments, and units should carefully organize and arrange, quickly convey and learn, and timely, accurately, and comprehensively convey the spirit of the meeting to every party member and cadre; We need to elevate our political stance, consolidate our political responsibilities, and work together to build a unified and coordinated framework for managing and governing the Party. We must vigorously implement and promote the development of our cause, focus on accelerating the implementation of the “1396” development strategy, anchor the successful completion of the “14th Five Year Plan” goals and tasks, and strive to accelerate the construction of a first-class applied university!

Li Huilin, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, delivered a work report on behalf of the school’s Discipline Inspection Commission entitled “Accurately grasping the task situation, uniting efforts, forging ahead with determination, and steadfastly promoting the construction of Party conduct and clean governance and the fight against corruption”, reviewing and summarizing the disciplinary inspection and supervision work in 2024, and making overall arrangements for the disciplinary inspection and supervision tasks in 2025.

At the meeting, we watched the warning education documentary “Leading Geese Becomes a ‘Pollution Source’ - Warning of Corruption in the Provincial Geological and Mineral System”.

A total of 252 people attended the meeting, including all middle-level cadres, department level cadres, full-time organizers, party branch secretaries, party branch and disciplinary inspection committee members, special supervisors for party conduct and clean governance construction, secretaries of youth league branches, directors of experimental centers, and directors of party and political offices.
