Recently, the results of the National Finals of the Second National Career Planning Competition were officially announced. An Ran a student majoring in Information SecurityfromGrade 2022 of the School of Future Information Technology, has won the Bronze Medal in the Finals of the Higher Education Undergraduate Group Competition with his outstanding performance, achieving a new breakthrough for our university in this competition.
With the theme of “Building dreams for a youthful ambition to travel far and wide, planning to set sail and guide the future in career development”, this competition is committed to guiding college students to reasonably plan their academic and career development, establish a correct employment concept, and improve comprehensive quality and employment competitiveness. Since the competition was launched in October last year, it has attracted 15.07 million students from all over the country to actively sign up, covering 2,763 universities. After fierce competition and layered selections in school competitions and provincial competitions, a total of 750 contestants stood out and advanced to the finals. 6 students altogether were selected in Hebei Province to participate in the National Finals of the Undergraduate Group of Higher Education.
On the competition site, our student An Ran presented his career planning and growth path as a student majoring in information security comprehensively and in-depth with the theme of “Holding the bottom line in the offensive-defensive game, guarding the boundaries in vulnerability hunting.” He introduced in detail the knowledge and skills reserves required for safety research engineers in the target position, and shared his career preparation in a comprehensive and detailed manner from four dimensions: internship experience, project experience, honor display and future plans. During the competition, with his confidence, calmness and clear explanations, An Ran fully demonstrated the solid professional qualities and excellent comprehensive qualities of our students, winning high praise from the judges and audiences, and finally achieved excellent results of 16th.
Leaders of SJZU attached great importance to this competition. The Student Affairs Office and various colleges prepared and organized actively, using competitions to promote learning and employment. During the stage of school competition, a total of 15,165 students participated in it, accounting for 84.99%, of all students, setting a new high for the number of participants. In the next step, the Student Affairs Office will continue to take the career planning competition as an opportunity to further explore the connotation of career education and career planning education, stimulate students' awareness of career planning, improve students' professional ability and comprehensive qualities, guide students of Shijiazhuang to cultivate their feelings for their country, achieve high-quality full employment, help students grow and become talents, and continuously inject new impetus into the school's talent training work.
