Recently, the National Center for Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation (NCPSSD) released its annual report on Most Popular Journals 2024, and The Journal of Shijiazhuang University was rated as the “Most Popular Journal of Comprehensive Humanities and Social Sciences” of 2024. This marks the first time our university’s journal has been awarded this honor.
NCPSSD classified 2,084 Chinese journals into 24 broad disciplinary categories and identified the “Most Popular Journals” based on the reading index, download index and popularity index in 2024. Among the comprehensive humanities and social sciences journals, the one of our university ranked in thetop 10%.
Since 2023, our journal has intensified topic selection and planning, consistently improved the quality of editing and proofreading, and significantly enhanced impact and popularity. The journal will take this award as an opportunity to further strengthen its distinctive sections, enhance academic leadership, and contribute to serving the development of our university as a first-class applied institution and promoting the advancement of philosophy and social sciences.
