From May 22 to 26, the 8th National College Students' Online Culture Festival—"Digital Intelligence New Skills" Offline Exchange and Exhibition Event—and the 2025 National Yiban Technology Innovation Conference for Colleges and Universities were successfully held in Zhu hai. Our university's competition team won four awards, marking the best performance in the history of our participation in this event.
The event was hosted by the Yiban Development Center of the Ministry of Education and featured four competition categories: self-developed applications, innovative and creative solutions, AI-generated content (AIGC) applications, and virtual reality technology applications. Over 400 faculty members and students from 103 universities across the country, including Lanzhou University and Chongqing University, gathered in Zhuhai with their innovative projects, setting a record for the largest participation scale in the conference's history. During the five-day event, our team earned high praise from the judges for their strong technical capabilities and distinctive educational characteristics. Among the awards, "YiYan YiTing", a campus interaction platform for teachers and students, won the third prize in the self-developed applications category. The platform employs front-end and back-end separation architecture and data-driven logic to facilitate a positive feedback loop between students, faculty, and university departments, contributing to a harmonious campus environment. The "Dual-Carbon Smart Science Platform" received the third prize in the AIGC applications category. This project uses AI technology to promote knowledge about carbon neutrality, leading a new trend in low-carbon awareness. The "YiYou Ji" APP was awarded the third prize in the virtual reality technology applications category. Leveraging VR technology, the APP enhances users' experience of red tourism in Hebei, allowing college students to inherit the legacy of red culture through the fusion of technology and history. Additionally, the "YiQi Play Music" therapeutic music APP earned the Outstanding Exhibition Award in the innovative and creative category. It blends traditional pentatonic music with modern AR technology to explore new approaches to mental health education for college students.
Our university places great emphasis on the Yiban Technology Innovation Conference, focusing on creating projects that "address students' practical issues and convey positive values." Through two technical training sessions, five project roadshows, and one-on-one mentor guidance, the university meticulously refined the competition entries to enhance their core competitiveness. Moving forward, the university will continue to use Yiban as a platform to deepen the integration of ideological and political education with cutting-edge technologies such as AI and VR. The goal is to cultivate more nationally influential online ideological and political education brands, strengthen the ideological foundation for nurturing well-rounded talents of the new era, and contribute to the vision of a "Digital and Intelligent SJZU."
