A Strategic Cooperation Agreement Has Been Signed Between SJZU and Shijiazhuang Institute of Educational Science

 In order to implement the new requirements of CPC and the state for the construction of education and educational teams in the new era, and to promote the joint construction and sharing of regional education resources, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony with Shijiazhuang Institute of Educational Science (shortened in SIES) was held in SJZU on May 29th. Wang Yongqin, Principal of SJZU, Feng Baoqiang, Vice Principal of SJZU, Zhong Ronggui, Deputy Director of Shijiazhuang Education Bureau, and Gao Jianhua, Director of SIES, attended the ceremony, along with relevant department heads from both sides and teacher representatives.
In her greeting speech, Wang Yongqin expressed gratitude for the long-term care and support provided by Shijiazhuang Education Bureau and SIES to SJZU, and introduced the outstanding achievements of SJZU in talents cultivation, scientific research, characteristic development, social services, and other aspects under the guidance of the “1396” development strategy. She stressed that this signing would mark a new stage in education cooperation between two sides. Furthermore, she hoped to build up a benchmark for regional educational cooperation through complementary advantages, in order to promote the high-quality development of basic education and teacher talents training in Shijiazhuang.
Gao Jianhua highly praised the contributions and achievements of SJZU in the field of basic education. He pointed out that the cooperation between two sides had highly consistent educational goals, complementary resource endowments, and flexible and pragmatic methods in cooperation. He hoped that the two-way empowerment of theory and practice could be achieved, and more and better teacher talents could be cultivated for Shijiazhuang through the cooperation. Subsequently, Feng Hong, Director of the Research Department, and Gao Jianhua signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides.
After the signing ceremony, both sides initiated a high-level talents mutual recruitment mechanism. Wang Yongqin was hired as an accredited academic committee member for SIES, to deeply participate in the academic guidance work of the Institute’s projects. Gao Jianhua and Zhang Lixia, Director of the Art and Sports Department of SIES, were hired as guest professors for SJZU. Feng Baoqiang had presented them with the letters of appointment.
The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement is an important measure for SJZU to deepen the collaborative innovation with local areas. It will further enhance the talents cultivation, scientific research, and social service capabilities of the teacher education in SJZU, better promote the integration and connection between higher education and basic education, and inject new momentum into the modernization of education in Shijiazhuang.
