On June 14th, the founding conference of the National Industry-Education Integration Consortium for Smart Community Traditional Chinese Medicine Health and Wellness was held at Dezhou Vocational and Technical College. More than 200 guests from leading enterprises, universities, vocational schools, industry organizations, scientific research institutions and related enterprises in the National Smart Community TCM Health Care Industry attended the conference. At the meeting, after the delegates voted together, our school and Dezhou Caixin Group and other three units were unanimously elected as the executive vice president unit of the National Smart Community TCM Health Care Industry Production and Education Integration Community. This is another time that our university has been elected as the executive vice president of the national industry integration community of production and education after being elected as the executive vice president unit of the national AI + old-age rehabilitation integration community of production and education.

The National Smart Community of Production and Education Integration in TCM Health Care Industry is jointly led by Northeastern University Qinhuangdao Branch, Dezhou Vocational and Technical College and Beijing Jiujiu Chunhui Pension Service Co. Ltd., and is jointly established by more than 100 units. The School of Law and Society of our university will rely on the carrier of community, give full role to the function led by the government and the function with dual subjects of schools and enterprises, vigorously integrate the high-quality resources of the health care and social work industries, and provide “human-centered, specialized, professional, high-quality, technology-driven, intelligent, localized, internationalized, green, universal, life-oriented and ecological” development, and supply sufficient and efficient wisdom, products, technologies, talents and service support, and make greater contributions to training urgently needed talents for health care and social workers, promoting industrial upgrading and serving high-quality regional development.

During the conference, Professor Zhang Xuedong, Dean of the School of Law and Society, had in-depth exchanges with several experts on the construction of intelligent health care, integration of production and education, training of Chinese and Japanese health care professionals and innovation of Chinese health care model. The experts included Professor Zhang Xiaofei who is the Director of China Health & Wellness Research Institute at Northeastern University (Qinhuangdao Branch), Dong Hailin Tokai Rin Mayumi who is the President of Japan-China Association for the Welfare of the Elderly, Ma Qingxia who is the President of Health Industry Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Science and Technology, and other experts.
