Recently, the Ministry of Education’s Yiban Development Center announced the list of outstanding Yiban co-construction universities for 2024, and our university was honored with the title of “National Outstanding Yiban Co-construction University.”
This selection is a key assessment initiative in the nationwide promotion and development of Yiban. The evaluation received 1,029 submissions from 377 universities across 28 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. After expert review of provincial recommendations and a comprehensive assessment of universities’ annual Yiban dual-index performance and activity participation, 93 institutions were recognized as outstanding Yiban co-construction universities, including five from Hebei Province.
In 2024, our university’s Yiban Development Center remained student-centered, organizing thematic educational campaigns such as “Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the PRC” and “Appreciating the Beauty of Poetry and Classics.” These initiatives have strengthened the university’s online ideological and political education platform, advancing an integrated approach to education that combines online and offline engagement across all aspects of student life. The center has continuously developed a distinctive online community that integrates ideological guidance, academic resources, student services, and cultural activities.
Our university’s Yiban co-construction index and activity index consistently ranked among the top nationwide, and we received the “Outstanding Organization Award” in the National Yiban Excellent Course Competition three times. To date, the platform boasts over 46,000 registered and verified users, achieving a 100% student registration rate.
This honor reflects the Yiban Development Center’s full recognition of our university’s achievements in Yiban development. Moving forward, we will take this as a new starting point to further innovate and build a higher-quality online interactive community for faculty and students, elevating online ideological and political education to new heights.
