On June 26, the final of "the 6th Shijiazhuang Theoretical Propaganda Competition" sponsored by the Shijiazhuang Academy of Social Sciences and the Lecturer Group of the Communist Party of China Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee, and undertaken by the School of Journalism and Communication, was successfully held in the studio hall of Shangxue Building of our university. Yu Yanhong, President of the Shijiazhuang Academy of Social Sciences, Executive Vice Chairman of the Municipal Social Sciences Federation, and Director of the Municipal Party Committee Lecturer Group; Dun Dun, Vice President of the Shijiazhuang Academy of Social Sciences and Deputy Director of the Lecturer Group of the Communist Party of China Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee; Ji Lihuai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our university; and judges from units such as the Hebei Academy of Social Sciences, the Provincial Party School, the Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, Hebei Normal University, and Hebei Radio and Television Station attended the event. More than 150 people, including the leadership team of the School of Journalism and Communication, the professional technical support team, participating contestants, and on-site audiences, participated in the activity.
Before the final, Ji Lihuai had an exchange with Yu Yanhong and her entourage on strengthening university-local cooperation and fully docking with the construction and development of the provincial capital.
At the final site, 20 groups of outstanding contestants from different regions and industries competed on the same stage. Through vivid forms such as "theory + literature and art", "case + data", and "skit", they demonstrated Shijiazhuang's practical achievements in green development, rule of law construction, urban renewal, and other aspects.
As the organizing unit, the School of Journalism and Communication specially formed a professional technical support team, undertaking 3 competitions including the semi-finals and finals. The faculty-student team gave full play to their professional advantages, meticulously organized and arranged the events, providing high-quality service support throughout the process—from pre-event planning and stage design to on-site recording and post-production—to ensure the smooth holding of the competition. With a high sense of responsibility and professional literacy, the faculty-student team won universal praise from the organizing units and participating contestants.
The successful holding of this competition not only built a platform for theoretical propagandists across the city to exchange and learn, but also provided valuable professional practice opportunities for teachers and students of our university. Taking this event as an opportunity, the School of Journalism and Communication will further deepen university-local cooperation, give play to the professional characteristics of journalism, communication, and film and television production, help spread the Party's innovative theories, and contribute wisdom and strength to the high-quality economic and social development of the provincial capital.
