Recently, three outstanding works selected by our school were successfully shortlisted for the 7th National “Reciting China” Classic Recitation Competition.
Since the launch of the competition, under the guidance of the Academic Affairs Office, the library has actively responded to the call of the Education Department of Hebei Province, carefully organized and mobilized throughout the school, and received enthusiastic participation from teachers and students, collecting a total of 148 entries. The library carefully plans the on campus selection process, and through extensive solicitation and preliminary screening, organizes a professional evaluation team to strictly review the entries. The works selected by our school have won high recognition from the judges because of their profound ideological connotations, exquisite artistic expression, and sincere emotional expression. In the end, three works stand out and obtain valuable qualifications to represent Hebei Province in the national competition.
The achievement of this outstanding result is a concrete manifestation of the library fully exerting its role as a cultural education platform, actively promoting the national common language and script, and inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture. The library will continue to take this as an opportunity to deepen the promotion of classic reading activities, build more display platforms, continuously improve the language and cultural literacy and comprehensive abilities of teachers and students, and contribute to the construction of campus culture and talent cultivation in our school.
