Recently, the 2025 “Challenge Cup” Hebei Provincial Undergraduate Curricular Academic Science and Technology Works by Race, co-hosted by the Communist Youth League Hebei Provincial Committee, Hebei Provincial Department of Education, Hebei Provincial Association for Science and Technology, Hebei Academy of Social Sciences, Hebei Provincial Students’ Federation, and the People’s Government of Qinhuangdao City, came to a successful conclusion. Our university’s teachers and students performed exceptionally well in this competition, achieving remarkable results. They won 3 special awards, 2 first prizes, 10 second prizes, and 3 third prizes. Three teachers, Hao Zhiming, Li Yun, and Li Yanan, were awarded the title of “Excellent Instructor”. Our university was also honored with the “Excellent Organization Award”, fully demonstrating our remarkable achievements in science and technology innovation education and talent cultivation.

The “Challenge Cup”, as one of the most influential student science and technology events in colleges and universities nationwide, has always been highly regarded by universities. The race this year has attracted numerous universities across the province to participate, leading to fierce competition. Our university attaches great importance to this race, actively organizing the application work, internal selection, and expert guidance to ensure the continuous improvement of the quality of our works. The excellent results achieved in this race are a reflection of our university’s long-standing educational philosophy of “promoting learning, teaching, and innovation through competitions”, which stands as a significant achievement of our university in advancing the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education and strengthening the efforts to foster talent through scientific research.
