On August 3rd, a delegation from the ASEAN Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), including Assistant Secretary-General of ASEAN, President of the ASEAN Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Vice President of the University of Cambodia, Por Sam Luang, visited our university for an exchange. Chen Liang, the Party Secretary, and Quan Hui, the Director of the Foreign Affairs (Hong Kong and Macao) Office of Shijiazhuang City, attended the symposium. The relevant responsible persons from the International Exchange and Cooperation Center, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Foreign Languages, and the Newle International College attended the symposium.

Chen Liang expressed his warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the development history, educational positioning, professional settings, talent cultivation, and the progress of international exchanges and cooperation of our school. He pointed out that the friendship between China and Cambodia has a long history. On May 20th this year, the friendly economic delegation of Shijiazhuang City visited Cambodia and carried out relevant foreign economic and trade activities, deepening the practical cooperation between Shijiazhuang and Cambodia in industry, economy and trade, culture, education and other aspects, and actively participating in the "China-Cambodia Tourism Year". Shijiazhuang University has extensive cooperation space with Chinese and Cambodian universities such as the University of Cambodia and hopes to carry out practical cooperation in education and teaching, cultural exchange and other aspects. Bo Shanglang expressed his gratitude for our school's warm reception and briefly introduced the basic situation of the University of Cambodia. He also expressed the willingness to cooperate with our school in areas such as student exchanges and visits, academic exchanges of teachers, overseas cooperative education, international student education, and artificial intelligence.

This visit and exchange activity is a concrete measure to implement and deepen practical cooperation between Shijiazhuang and Cambodia in industries, economy and trade, culture, education and other aspects. It also lays a solid foundation for the cooperation between our university and Cambodia in the field of higher education and culture. Taking this visit and exchange as an opportunity, our school will further enhance communication, actively expand channels for cooperation between China and Cambodia, promote friendly cultural exchanges between the two countries, and contribute the strength of Shijiazhuang University to building a new era all-weather China-Cambodia community with a shared future.
