In summer's praise and autumn's blessing, the plants in Yan Zhao are lush; with the mutual learning of civilizations, the friendship between young people of Hebei and the US is strong. From August 8th to 12th, under the guidance of units such as the Foreign Affairs Office of Hebei Province, the Foreign Affairs Office of Shijiazhuang, and the Education Bureau of Shijiazhuang, our university successfully held the "Acquiring Knowledge and Practicing in Hebei, Mutual Learning Among Civilizations, Joyfully Touring in Yan Zhao, Building Dream in Midsummer" China-US Youth Summer Camp. We warmly received 27 teachers and students from schools such as the Oakland School of the Arts in the United States, allowing them to deeply experience the Yan Zhao culture, have a fun tour in Shijiazhuang, and perceive a real and three-dimensional modern Hebei during the trip.
With the goal of "telling Hebei's stories well and spreading Hebei's voice", this summer camp carried out a variety of immersive experience activities around themes such as campus research exchanges, regional culture perception, intangible cultural heritage skills experience, and urban interesting exploration. In our university's history museum, American teenagers had an immersive experience of the university's profound historical and cultural heritage through "touchable stories" and "visible touches", and also experienced the digital VR campus scene. In the regional culture museum, they felt the university's developing context of keeping pace with the times and having the courage to innovate by exploring the mysterious Zhongshan State. At Shijiazhuang Zhang Li Art School, American teenagers also participated in Chinese seal cutting art research activities and carried out in-depth professional exchanges and performances with teachers and students from our university's School of Music, School of Fine Arts and Design, and Leda International School of Art.

In addition, our university has carefully designed a number of distinctive urban exploration Citywalk routes. In Zhengding Ancient City, they felt the new charm of the ancient city; in Hebei Museum, they touched the historical context of thousands of years; in Wanli Temple Pedestrian Street, they experienced the vigorous modern commercial civilization of Shijiazhuang; when climbing Juyongguan Great Wall, they looked up at the spiritual totem of Chinese civilization. Chinese and American teenagers measured the city's longitude and latitude together with their feet, felt the historical heritage and the worldly life of the Chinese land, and jointly built a bridge of friendship for the people-to-people bonds between the two countries.

"Acquiring Knowledge and Practicing in Hebei, Having Dialogue between Civilizations +" is a characteristic brand project for China-US youth exchanges that our university has worked hard to build, aiming to cultivate intercultural talents with an international perspective. Through a series of brand activities integrating national characteristics, international perspective, interest and experience, the project has built a long-term platform for cultural exchanges between Chinese and American teenagers. In the future, the university will deepen the "1396" development strategy, strengthen the belief foundation of "second entrepreneurship", focus on urban construction, youth growth, cultural inheritance and the integration of industry and education, continue to promote educational innovation, actively expand international cultural exchange activities, and contribute the strength of colleges and universities to promoting friendly exchanges between China and foreign countries.
