New Breakthrough! Our University’s First National First-Class Undergraduate Course Approved

Recently, the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education released the Notice on the Results of the Third Batch of National First-Class Undergraduate Courses, and the Computer Network course led by Professor Han Ming from our university was approved as a national first-class undergraduate course with both online and offline components. This marks a breakthrough for our university in obtaining national first-class undergraduate courses and indicates that the construction of undergraduate courses at our university has entered a new stage.
Computer Network is a professional course for students majoring in computer science, aiming to cultivate students’ mastery and application of the principles, technologies, and cutting-edge knowledge of computer networks. This course makes full use of key technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and knowledge graphs, as well as AI teaching assistants and AI workbenches for intelligent teaching management, including teaching design, teaching scenarios, and student situation analysis, as well as personalized learning path recommendations, to enhance teaching quality and learning outcomes for students. The competition for the selection of national first-class undergraduate courses was intense. The Computer Network course stood out with its distinct teaching characteristics, solid construction achievements, and significant educational results, successfully entering the ranks of national first-class undergraduate courses.
For a long time, the school has attached great importance to the construction of courses, actively implementing the relevant spirit of the Ministry of Education on the construction of first-class undergraduate courses. Through improving the course content system, innovating and reforming teaching models, strengthening the construction of ideological and political education in courses, and building an outstanding teaching team, a number of courses with high-level, innovation and challenge have been developed. The school will take the approval of the national first-class undergraduate courses as an opportunity, give full play to the exemplary and radiating role of first-class undergraduate courses at all levels, further deepen the reform and innovation of courses, continuously optimize the course system, and accelerate the deep integration of artificial intelligence and education and teaching. At the same time, by improving the collaborative mechanism of teacher development and course construction, it will encourage all teachers to participate in teaching innovation, comprehensively improve the quality of talent cultivation, and lay a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the school and the construction of a first-class application-oriented university.
