The National College Students Advertising Art Competition is a professional event hosted by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and the Advertising Education Professional Committee of the China Association for Higher Education. The competition adheres to the competition principle of “promoting educational reform, inspiring wisdom, strengthening abilities, improving qualities, and fostering virtue through education”, and is characterized by its large scale, wide coverage, numerous participating colleges and students, and high-level works. It is a national-level university discipline competition with significant social influence.
Since the launch of the competition, the Academic Affairs Office has provided overall guidance and coordination throughout the process. The School of Journalism and Media strictly implemented the work requirements of “early mobilization, meticulous cultivation, and strict selection”, and systematically advanced the organization of the school-level competition. On the one hand, it strictly formulated evaluation standards and quantitatively assessed the works from multiple dimensions such as creativity, professionalism, and dissemination power. On the other hand, it adhered to the principle of “quality first and selection of the best”, organized professional teacher teams to provide multiple rounds of guidance and refinement for the participating works, accurately identified high-quality works, and pushed them to the provincial and national competitions, laying a solid foundation for achieving outstanding results.
The achievement in this national competition is a practical outcome of our school's in-depth implementation of the “1396” development strategy and the comprehensive promotion of the student comprehensive quality improvement project. Through participation in the national competition platform, students not only honed their professional abilities and enhanced their professional identity, but also further expanded the influence of our school among similar institutions in the province and beyond, injecting strong impetus into the high-quality and connotative development of our school.
