On the afternoon of November 19, the inauguration ceremony of the Shijiazhuang Urban Agglomeration Digital Advertising Research Institute and the first "Taihang Communication" Forum were held at our university.
Ji Lihuai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our university; Ji Qing, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Administration for Market Regulation; Nan Cunjie, Chairman of the Shijiazhuang Advertising and Media Association; Song Weishan, Professor of Hebei Normal University and Director of the Hebei Advertising Research Institute; Liang Xiaohui, Dean of the School of Literature and Communication of Hengshui University; Yang Ning, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Literature and Communication of Hengshui University; and Zhang Haiyan, Professor of the School of Economics and Trade of Xingtai University attended the event. Also present were the leading group, faculty and student representatives of the School of Journalism and Communication, as well as nearly 100 guests from government departments, industry associations, universities, enterprises and media outlets.
In his speech, Ji Lihuai first extended a warm welcome to all the guests. He introduced the basic profile of the university from aspects such as its educational history, orientation and local service capabilities, and highlighted the achievements made in professional clusters and university-local cooperation under the guidance of the university's "1396" development strategy. He stated that the establishment of the research institute couldn't have come at a better time, which is a significant achievement of the joint efforts of the government, enterprises, universities and media. In the future, it will effectively promote the in-depth integration of industry, academia, research and application in our university and empower the digital advertising industry in the Shijiazhuang Urban Agglomeration to enter a new stage of high-quality development.
In his speech, Nan Cunjie shared the association's practical experience in supporting industrial development and promoting inter-industry connectivity, and put forward specific measures for the research institute to take the lead in industrial innovation and build a sound industrial ecosystem in the future. Ji Qing stated that the market regulatory authorities will strengthen policy guidance, encourage enterprise innovation, boost industrial innovation, and promote the high-quality development of the advertising industry.
Amid a warm atmosphere, Ji Lihuai and Ji Qing unveiled the plaque for the Shijiazhuang Urban Agglomeration Digital Advertising Research Institute.
At the meeting, the appointment ceremony for the first batch of think tank experts was held. Meanwhile, the first "Taihang Communication" Forum themed "Digital Leadership·All-Round Drive: Development Trends of Communication Value in the Advertising and Media Industry" was convened. Participants conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as the development trends and social value of advertising and media, technological iteration and media upgrading, the role of emotional value, as well as the digital transformation and traffic monetization of traditional media.
The Shijiazhuang Urban Agglomeration Digital Advertising Research Institute is guided by the Shijiazhuang Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, co-initiated by our university and the Shijiazhuang Advertising and Media Association, and jointly established with Hengshui University and Xingtai University.
