On January 19th, the final of the Hebei Provincial Competition of the 3rd National College Students’ Career Planning Competition was successfully concluded at Yanshan University. Gu Boshu, a student majoring in Primary Education from the College of Teacher Education of our university, stood out from the fierce competition in the Employment Track of the Higher Education Group, won the Gold Award of Hebei Province with an excellent result of the 6th place among undergraduate students in the whole province, and our university was awarded the “Excellent Organization Award” of the provincial competition.
At the final competition, Gu Boshu delivered a systematic elaboration on his career planning and practical preparations from three core dimensions—career goal orientation, demonstration of job competency, and potential for future development—with his presentation entitled “Rooting in the Hometown, ‘Nurturing’ a Vision for Science”. His solid professional accomplishments, clear planning logic and outstanding on-site performance won the unanimous recognition of the judges. This not only fully demonstrated the aspiring and striving spirit of our university’s students, but also highlighted the fruitful achievements of our university’s talent cultivation efforts.
