On January 29, Xu Changjiang, Deputy County Chief stationed by the Ministry of Education in Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County, and the delegation visited Shijiazhuang University for research and exchange. Party Committee Secretary Chen Liang attended the meeting chaired by Wang Yongqin, Party Committee Deputy Secretary and President.

At the meeting, Chen Liang, on behalf of the university, extended a warm welcome to Xu Changjiang and the delegation. Chen Liang introduced the university’s basic profile and recent achievements in education from four aspects: the origins in teacher training, transformative development and innovation, distinctive strengths, and “secondary entrepreneurship” initiatives. As the sole municipal undergraduate university in Shijiazhuang, the university has consistently adhered to the mission of being “local, applied, and international.” Rooted in the provincial capital, it serves the broader Hebei region and extends its influence to Beijing and Tianjin, actively integrating into national and regional development strategies. The university has achieved outstanding results in ideological education, discipline and major development, applied talent cultivation, the integration development of industry, academia, research, and application, as well as international education. Party Committee Secretary Chen Liang emphasized that the university should deeply connect with the development needs of Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County in key areas such as education, agriculture, and sports, strengthen regular communication and collaboration with the assistance team, and jointly inject new momentum into the high-quality development of Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County.

Xu Changjiang introduced the fixed-point assistance provided by the secondment team to Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County and explained the purpose of this research. He hopes to take this visit as an opportunity to carry out deep cooperation with the university, jointly build an innovative model of empowering rural revitalization with university resources by introducing excellent teachers and high-quality educational resources, and work together to promote the rural revitalization work of Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County to a new level.

After the meeting, Xu Changjiang and the delegation visited the School History Museum, Shijiazhuang Regional Culture Museum, and Integrated Media Center. Through on-site observation and interactive communication, they gained a deep understanding of the school’s long history of education, distinctive development trends, and current construction achievements. They also highly praised and fully affirmed the university’s remarkable achievements in talent cultivation, cultural inheritance and innovation.

The heads of relevant units such as the office, personnel department, student affairs department, academic affairs department, scientific research department, finance department, Marxist College, and International Exchange and Cooperation Center attended the meeting.
