The condolence scene was filled with a warm atmosphere. Wei Qinghui and his delegation sent heart-warming condolences such as rice, noodles, oil and eggs to the teacher representatives who had outstanding performance and made significant contributions in the union activities in 2025. During the cordial exchange, the consolation group learned in detail about the working and living conditions of the faculty and staff, fully affirmed their responsibilities in fulfilling their duties in teaching and scientific research positions and actively participating in trade union activities, and encouraged everyone to continue to play a leading role and devote themselves to education with greater enthusiasm.
During the discussion and exchange, the city trade union leaders carefully listened to the report on our university’s 2026 trade union work plan and put forward guiding opinions based on the requirements of trade union work in the new era. Wang Fenglou emphasized that the school trade union should always adhere to a faculty-centered work orientation, deepen warm-hearted services, enrich activity carriers, effectively play the role of bridge and link, and promote the high-quality development of the university.
Wei Qinghui and his delegation visited the university's staff activity room and maternal and child room, and comprehensively understood the daily operations of the site by checking the facility configuration, reviewing the management ledger, and communicating with the staff. During the inspection, Wei Qinghui focused on the effectiveness of the organization of cultural and sports activities for faculty and staff and the details of maternal and infant care services.
