On March 9, 2026, the 3rd National College Students' Career Planning Competition "Bank of China Cup" — Hebei Provincial Qualifying Match for National Finals successfully concluded at Yanshan University. Students from our university strove for excellence and stood out. Gu Boshu won the first place in the Employment Track (Higher Education Group).
Hosted by the Department of Education of Hebei Province and organized by Yanshan University, this provincial qualifying match is a key event for selecting outstanding contestants to represent Hebei Province in the national finals. After fierce competition, 7 contestants in the Employment Track were successfully selected. Gu Boshu, a student majoring in Primary Education from our university, took the first place in Hebei Province in the Employment Track of the Higher Education Group. With solid professional competence and clear career planning, he demonstrated the youthful demeanor and outstanding strength of students from Shijiazhuang University.
Since the launch of the competition, the university has made overall arrangements for preparation. Instructors provided full guidance, especially during the winter vacation, by helping Gu Boshu continuously polish his entry works, refine his presentation skills, identify weaknesses and strive for excellence. At the qualifying match, with solid professional quality, clear thinking and his commitment to the career goal of "being a science teacher at a rural primary school in Jinzhou, Shijiazhuang", he won unanimous recognition from the judges. His performance not only showed the striving spirit of our university's students, but also highlighted the effectiveness of our university's talent cultivation.
