National Training Program (2025) Specialized Campus Football Training for Primary and Secondary School PE Backbone Teachers in Hebei Province Successfully Launched
On April 13 and 14, the "National Training Program (2025)" Specialized Campus Football Training for Primary and Secondary School PE Backbone Teachers in Hebei Province was officially launched at our university. Vice President Li Juan attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Among the leaders and experts present were Lyu Jianli, Chief Expert of the National Campus Football Training Program, and Sun Qingmei, Head Coach of the Hebei Women's Football Team and former captain of the Chinese national team.
In her address, Vice President Li Juan extended a warm welcome to the participating teachers and provided a detailed overview of the university's history, disciplinary development, industry-education integration, and distinctive achievements in physical education. She emphasized that the university places great importance on the National Training Program, having meticulously refined the curriculum and selected a team of authoritative experts. The training covers key areas of campus football, including teaching, training, event organization, and safety protection, adhering to a balance of theory and practice to provide precise and effective professional support for frontline teachers. She put forward three expectations for all participants: first, to deepen their expertise and continuously hone their football teaching and training skills, striving to become high-quality physical education teachers in the new era; second, to apply what they have learned, bringing advanced teaching concepts and practical methods back to grassroots campuses to promote the deep integration of campus football with education and teaching; and third, to observe strict discipline, enhance mutual learning and collaboration, and take solid action to contribute to the vibrant development of campus football in Hebei, thereby building a solid talent foundation for the revitalization of Chinese football.
At the ceremony, Zuo Jian, Dean of the School of Physical Education, provided a comprehensive interpretation of the training plan, while Xu Xianjun, Dean of the School of Continuing Education, made mobilization arrangements. Experts present and participating teachers engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the educational philosophy of campus football, innovative teaching methods, and grassroots practical experience.
This training aims to enhance campus football teaching capabilities and the professional quality of PE teachers, bringing together backbone PE teachers from across Hebei Province to inject momentum into the high-quality development of campus football in Hebei and help solidify the grassroots foundation for the revitalization of Chinese football. The "National Training Program (2025)" Specialized Campus Football Training will last for two months. It offers 4 phases of primary school campus football training and 4 phases of junior high school campus football training, with each phase lasting 10 days. A total of 900 backbone football teachers from primary and secondary schools across the province have participated in the training.
