Recently, the Hebei Provincial Department of Education issued the "Notice on the Announcement of the First Batch of Provincial-Level First-Class Undergraduate Courses for Final Review and Certification" (Ji Jiao Gao Han [2026] No. 12). Six provincial first-class courses submitted by our university successfully passed the final review, thanks to their solid construction foundation and innovative teaching models.

In recent years, our university has placed great emphasis on the development of first-class undergraduate courses, closely aligning with the goal of cultivating applied talents. We have continuously increased investment in course development, innovated course construction models, deepened the connotation of courses, and created distinctive highlights, leading to a steady improvement in the quality and level of course development. As of now, the university has established one national-level first-class undergraduate course, 15 provincial-level first-class undergraduate courses, and 112 university-level first-class undergraduate courses, providing solid support for the advancement of first-class undergraduate education.

The university will take this acceptance inspection as an opportunity to fully leverage the exemplary, leading, and driving role of first-class undergraduate courses at all levels, continuously deepen curriculum teaching reforms, enrich the connotation of course development, steadily enhance the quality of course teaching, and promote the high-quality, connotation-oriented development of higher education.
