The National Finals of the 3rd National College Students Career Planning Competition concluded successfully in Tianjin from April 22 to 25. Gu Boshu, a 2022-grade student majoring in Primary Education at the School of Teacher Education, delivered an exceptional performance and claimed the National Bronze Award in the Higher Education Undergraduate Group of the Employment Track. This marks the second consecutive year that our university has claimed a national-level award in this prestigious national competition, fully demonstrating the continuous elevation of our institution's career education quality and talent cultivation standards.

At the finals, Gu maintained composure and clarity in his presentation themed “Rooting in Rural Areas, Cultivating Scientific Education”. As a government-funded normal student designated for Jinzhou, he elaborated on his growth through three core modules: “Archives of Educational Original Aspiration”, “Exhibition of Teaching Competence” and “Live Broadcast of Educational Practice”. He highlighted his career objectives, professional competency and development potential, while presenting his comprehensive employment preparation—fully embodying the solid professional foundation and vibrant spirit of our students.?

The competition, Co-hosted by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Tianjin Municipality, adheres to the theme “Pursue Youth Dreams, Navigate Future Careers”. Launched in October 2025, the Competition covered 2,833 universities and 20.55 million students nationwide, setting a new record in participation scale. After rigorous selection at university and provincial levels, only 798 contestants advanced to the national finals. Complemented by special job fairs and employment education achievement exhibitions, the event has become a leading national platform, serving as a bridge connecting career development education and talent supply-demand, which boasts the widest coverage, strongest influence and most remarkable educational outcomes.
