All units and schools,

According to the Memorandum on Cooperation in Higher Education between the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of the Interior of Swiss Confederation, no more than 25 places for Swiss Government Scholarships will be provided to young Chinese scholars and researchers every year to support them to visit or study in Switzerland, with the duration of the scholarships of 12 months. These Chinese people studying abroad will be entitled to Swiss scholarship living expenses (criteria for scholarship are as follows: 1920 Swiss francs/month for visiting scholars and 3500 Swiss francs/month for postdoctoral students), health insurance, one-time relocation expenses, annual admissions for public transport, etc. The China Scholarship Council will provide exchange scholarship subsidies and the expenses for one round-trip international travel.

Teachers who propose to apply for the Program shall file an application to their respective units. Each unit shall review the applicant’s qualifications, put forward recommendations according to the construction plan of professional team and actual needs of the discipline, and submit the Application Form for Teachers of Shijiazhuang University for Government/University-funded Overseas (Cross-border) Study and Further Education, the list of applicants and the letter of recommendation issued by the unit to the International Exchange and Cooperation Center before October 10, 2022. The International Exchange and Cooperation Center, together with the Academic Affairs Office, the Personnel Office, and other relevant departments, shall review the application forms, submit them to the corresponding leader of the University for approval, and to the Party Committee of the University for decision. After the review and approval of the University, the recommended candidate shall log onto the National Government-funded Overseas Study Management Information Platform for online registration during the period from October 14, 2022 to October 28, 2022, prepare the application materials according to the relevant requirements of the China Scholarship Council, and submit the materials (in triplicate) to the International Exchange and Cooperation Center before October 31, 2022.
