Our University Holds 2026 Meeting of the Coordination Group for Party Conduct and Anti-Corruption Work
Release time:2026-06-05 16:41:50
On June 4, our university held the 2026 meeting of the Coordination Group for Party Conduct and Anti-Corruption Work. Li Huilin, Head of the Coordination Group, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Inspector General of Supervision, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting emphasized the need to elevate political stance, deepen ideological understanding, and strengthen the consciousness and determination of self-reform. Li Huilin fully affirmed the achievements made by all member units over the past year in fulfilling their responsibilities regarding Party conduct and anti-corruption work. He analyzed the current situation, tasks, and existing problems, requiring all departments to benchmark against the new deployments and requirements of the CPC Central Committee, the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees, as well as the Central and Provincial Discipline Inspection Commissions. He urged departments to combine these requirements with several current key political tasks, conduct serious introspection on gaps and shortcomings, confront problems squarely, and ensure solid rectification.
The meeting called for persisting in serving the central mission, fostering clear mindset, and building a comprehensive defense line against corruption. It was noted that establishing a coordinated supervision mechanism is a crucial measure to implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the work requirements of the Central and Provincial Discipline Inspection Commissions. Efforts must be made to improve the responsibility implementation mechanism for anti-corruption, refine the normalized collaboration mechanism among the university’s Discipline Inspection Commission, the Organization Department, the Publicity Department, the Audit Office, and the Finance Department under the unified leadership of the Party Committee, thereby promoting integrated governance through full-chain collaboration.
Highlighting the problem-oriented approach, the meeting stressed the importance of addressing problems early and at the source, and tightening political responsibilities for governing the Party and administering the university. All departments must regard themselves as the “first checkpoint,” having the courage to discover problems and the fortitude to point them out. Leveraging the coordinated supervision mechanism, departments should facilitate information sharing and clue transfer, shifting from “fighting alone” to “joint operations,” and advancing supervision from “tangible coverage” to “effective coverage,” thereby ensuring the steady and sustained development of the university’s endeavors.
At the meeting, heads of the member units reported in turn on the progress of inspection rectification and the deepening of anti-corruption campaigns in the education sector. They briefed and exchanged views on incipient and tendentious issues discovered during functional supervision and conducted in-depth discussions on the focus of this year’s supervision work, unifying thoughts and building consensus for the next phase of coordinated supervision. The Discipline Inspection Office (Office of the Inspector General) issued specific work arrangements to implement the spirit of this meeting.
The principal responsible persons from the President’s Office, Audit Office, Organization Department, Publicity Department, Discipline Inspection Office (Office of the Inspector General), Human Resources Office (Faculty Affairs Department), Student Affairs Office, Scientific Research Office, Finance Office, State-owned Assets Administration Office, and Logistics Administration Office attended the meeting.
