First Meeting of Shijiazhuang University Literary and Art Work Joint Committee Held at Our University

On the afternoon of June 8, the first meeting of the Shijiazhuang University Literary and Art Work Joint Committee was held in Lecture Hall No. 1 of our university. Attendees included Chang Liqing, Secretary-General of Hebei Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles; Feng Baoqiang, Vice President of our university; Xia Jingbiao, Second-Level Researcher of Shijiazhuang Federation of Literary and Art Circles; and Yang Lei, Section Chief of the Propaganda Department of Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee. Representatives from the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, five municipal universities, the Municipal Art School, as well as leaders from various literary and art units attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Li Yongjie, Chairman of the Shijiazhuang Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
The meeting began with the solemn national anthem. Feng Hong, Director of the Scientific Research Office of our university, first delivered the "Preparatory Work Report on the Shijiazhuang University Literary and Art Work Joint Committee," systematically introducing the background of the initiative, the preparatory process, and future directions. Subsequently, all delegates reviewed and approved the "Working Measures of the Shijiazhuang University Literary and Art Work Joint Committee (Draft)" and voted on the convener, members, secretary-general, and deputy secretary-general of the joint committee.
In his speech, Vice President Feng Baoqiang noted that the establishment of the joint committee came at the right time and holds profound significance. He pointed out that universities gather a wealth of literary and artistic talent and creative resources. The establishment of the joint committee provides an important platform for exchange, mutual learning, and resource sharing among universities in Shijiazhuang, which will surely promote the integration and collaborative innovation of literary and art resources and contribute to the cultural prosperity of the provincial capital. He introduced the exploration and achievements of our university in literary and art work: winning the National Excellent Organization Award three times in the National College Student Art Exhibition, with multiple works receiving national awards; the School of Literature and History establishing the Hebei Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Dissemination and Research Base and the North China Epigraphy Documentation Research Center; faculty and students from the School of Music participating in major events such as the Asian Games and the Spring Festival Gala, while actively serving the Shijiazhuang Rock Music Season and rural revitalization; and the School of Fine Arts and Design establishing the Aesthetic Education Science Popularization Base and the Mural Research Center, promoting digital preservation and cultural creative development. He emphasized that our university will leverage these platforms to conduct in-depth research, creation, performance, and university-local collaborative services, enabling university literary and art resources to better empower the cultural construction of the provincial capital. He expressed hope that member universities would use the joint committee as a bond to break down inter-university barriers and deepen cooperation in literary and art creation, exhibitions, talent cultivation, and volunteer services, jointly building a brand for university literary and art in the provincial capital and contributing to the construction of a modern, international, and beautiful provincial capital city.
Amid warm applause, leaders from the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, together with leaders of our university, unveiled the plaque for the "Shijiazhuang University Literary and Art Work Joint Committee," marking the official establishment of the organization.
The convening of this meeting represents a significant measure by Shijiazhuang City to deepen the coordinated development of university literary and art work. It will further consolidate the strength of university literary and art circles and inject new vitality into the prosperity of the provincial capital's literary and art undertakings and the cultivation of new talents for the era.
