Release time:2026-06-17 15:51:37
On the evening of June 16, the 2026 Graduates Symphony Concert of the School of YueDA International Art was successfully held at the Shangwen Auditorium on the South Campus of Shijiazhuang University. University President Wang Yongqin and Vice President Li Juan attended the event. A total of over 800 guests enjoyed the concert, including mid-level university administrators, professors from the Conservatory of Music of Padua in Italy, representatives of faculty and students from various schools, and members of the public.
The concert was conducted by Professor Fabrizio Da Ros from the Conservatory of Music of Padua, with the Hebei Symphony Orchestra as the performing ensemble and Wang Ruqiang serving as the concertmaster. The performance featured faculty members and 2026 graduates of the School of YueDA International Art as the lead performers.
The concert opened with the overture to Verdi's opera “La forza del destino”, whose grand melody immediately captured the audience's attention. This was followed by a succession of Chinese and international classic masterpieces, drawing rounds of applause. Professor Elio Orio from the Conservatory of Music of Padua took the stage and performed Dvorak's classic work “Romantic Song” with the Hebei Symphony Orchestra. The flowing, melodious tune vividly embodied the profound cooperative friendship between the two schools across mountains and seas, and served as a living testament to cultural and artistic exchanges between China and Italy. In the second half, works with distinctive Chinese characteristics, including “Jiangshan”, “Into Shambhala”, and "Beautiful Homeland", among others, were performed in turn, blending the beauty of mountains and rivers and the sentiments of home and country into the singing, striking a deep chord in the audience. Finally, the concert came to a close with the sincere singing of "I Love You China" by the entire audience.
This concert marked the inaugural graduates' special concert of the Sino-Italian cooperative education program between Shijiazhuang University and the Conservatory of Music of Padua, and represented a milestone event in cultural exchange between China and Italy. Over the past four years, the two schools had engaged in deep cooperation, establishing a talent cultivation model of "major + language + specialty." This concert was not only a presentation of the achievements of the 2026 graduates in pursuing their youthful dreams, but also an important showcase of the university's international approach to education, aesthetic cultivation, and Sino-foreign cultural exchange outcomes.
