As summer songs of farewell resound, youth embarks on a new journey. On the morning of June 17, Shijiazhuang University 's 2026 Graduation Ceremony and Bachelor's Degree Conferment was held at the Gymnasium. All university leaders attended the ceremony, along with members of the Academic Degree Evaluation Committee, heads of relevant departments, Party branch secretaries and deputy secretaries of all schools and departments, counselors of graduating classes, and all graduates of the class of 2026. The ceremony was presided over by Vice President Feng Baoqiang.

The ceremony commenced with the majestic national anthem. On behalf of the university, President Professor Wang Yongqin extended warm congratulations to the class of 2026 graduates who had successfully completed their studies and expressed sincere gratitude to the faculty members who had devotedly nurtured the students' growth and development. She fondly recalled the four years in which the students had advanced together with the university and put forward four expectations for the graduates: First, "Upholding Virtue"to establish oneself, and strive to be a fighter with the motherland at heart. She urged graduates to cultivate deep patriotic sentiments, courageously shoulder social responsibilities, and abide by inner principles. They should integrate personal ideals into the great cause of national rejuvenation, infuse the SJZU spirit of "self-improvement, practical action, and responsibility" into their very being, and respond to the times and contribute to society with the power of youth, shining brightly on the journey of building a strong nation. Second, "Pursuing Learning"to strengthen foundations, and strive to be a fighter with solid capabilities. She encouraged graduates to delve deeply into their professional fields, keep a close eye on industry frontiers, and commit to lifelong learning. They should consolidate their knowledge, refine their strengths, actively adapt to change and proactively seek transformation, maintain curiosity and stimulate ambition, continuously expand the boundaries of cognition, and renew their reserves of capability, always standing at the forefront of knowledge and riding the tide of the times. Third, "Thinking Acutely"to break new ground, and strive to be a fighter with innovative vigor. She called on graduates to hone their power of insight, maintain enthusiasm for exploration, and cultivate systematic thinking. They should think diligently, reason discerningly, dare to innovate, and act with practical determination. Through broad observation and selective absorption, and through comprehensive integration, they should harness the vitality and sharpness of youth to accumulate momentum for pursuing their dreams. Fourth, "Acting Earnestly"to go far, and strive to be a fighter with down-to-earth dedication. She advised graduates to do every small thing well, overcome every difficulty, and walk every step of the journey steadily. They should not indulge in empty fantasies or pursue hollow reputations, but rather face challenges head-on and grow stronger through setbacks. They should proactively go to the frontiers of technological breakthroughs, the front lines of rural revitalization, and the grassroots of social service, becoming fighters with responsibility on their shoulders, paths beneath their feet, and light in their hearts.

Vice President Li Juan, Deputy Director of the University Academic Degree Evaluation Committee, read out the Decision of the Shijiazhuang University Academic Degree Evaluation Committee on Conferring Bachelor's Degrees to Graduates Including Su Bolin.

Teacher Gu Dandan from the School of Chemical Engineering and the School of Biological Medicine and Pharmacy delivered a speech on behalf of the faculty. She recalled the unforgettable times spent with students in classrooms and laboratories over the past four years and expressed her hope that all graduates would forever preserve their passion, remain grateful, be brave and resilient, ride the wind and waves, grow through trials and tribulations, and strengthen themselves through perseverance. In the name of youth, they should answer the call of the times.

Cao Zhixuan, a student majoring in Software Engineering from the School of Future Information Technology, spoke on behalf of the class of 2026 graduates. He expressed his deep gratitude to his alma mater and teachers, and encouraged all graduates to persist in their passions, persist in doing solid work, persist in cooperation, live up to the times and their youth, and shine their brightest light where the motherland needs them most.

In a solemn and warm atmosphere, university leaders and members of the Academic Degree Evaluation Committee, dressed in academic regalia, personally performed the tassel-turning ceremony for each graduate and took commemorative photographs with them.

"Just thinking of you makes me happy..."Cheerful melodies filled the graduation ceremony venue. Sixteen counselors who had accompanied the students throughout their entire university journey delivered their most touching parting advice through song. Woven into the melodies were four years of daily companionship and reluctance to part, as well as earnest blessings for the students as they set forth to distant horizons. This sincere and unadorned performance left the warmest and most moving exclusive mark on this grand farewell.

Hoist the sails to cross the seas; ride the wind to chart a course southward. May the class of 2026 graduates, carrying the blessings and expectations of their alma mater, embrace their ideals and forge ahead with determination. With the responsibility of youth, may they fulfill the mission of the times; with a posture of practical action, may they venture toward the vastness of life, and write their own magnificent chapters in the boundless world.
