Release time:2026-07-17 16:36:24
On the morning of July 15, President Wang Yongqin led a delegation comprising heads from the University’s Office, the Office of Scientific Research, the School of Chemical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering, the School of Future Information Technology, and the School of Geographical Science and Environmental Studies to visit and conduct research at the Hebei University of Technology Innovation Research Institute (Shijiazhuang). An Hailong, Director of the Hebei University of Technology Innovation Research Institute (Shijiazhuang), Cao Rongkang, Director of General Affairs, and Yuan Hailin, General Manager of Hebei Anji Digital Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., among others, participated in the exchange.
At the symposium, Wang Yongqin introduced the university’s history, academic programs, talent cultivation, disciplinary characteristics, industry-education integration, and university-enterprise cooperation. She emphasized that Shijiazhuang University has always adhered to its positioning as a “local, application-oriented, and internationalized” institution. Rooted in the provincial capital, serving Hebei Province, and radiating to Beijing and Tianjin, the university regards serving the high-quality economic and social development of the provincial capital as its mission. Since its establishment, the Hebei University of Technology Innovation Research Institute (Shijiazhuang) has vigorously promoted in-depth cooperation among universities, governments, and enterprises, dedicating itself to serving the high-quality development of the provincial capital’s leading industries. Given the high alignment between the institute’s mission and the university’s educational positioning and disciplinary strengths, she proposed that the two sides would comprehensively strengthen future cooperation. This includes establishing regular communication mechanisms and long-term systematic cooperation frameworks, jointly building R&D platforms and teams, enhancing scientific research collaboration, facilitating achievement transformation, intensifying collaborative education, and thereby providing greater intellectual and talent support for the high-quality development of the provincial capital’s leading industries.
An Hailong, Director of the Hebei University of Technology Innovation Research Institute (Shijiazhuang), introduced the institute’s overall profile. He stated that the institute focuses on the needs of Shijiazhuang’s three pillar industries: new-generation electronic information, biomedicine, and advanced equipment manufacturing. Closely centering on the five-in-one construction tasks of “innovation origination, achievement transformation, talent attraction and cultivation, enterprise incubation, and think tank support,” the institute strives to gather high-quality resources from universities, steadily implements a “five-step” development strategy, actively promotes a “five-joint” university-enterprise talent cultivation model, and solidly advances the deep integration of the industrial chain, innovation chain, and talent chain. It is committed to realizing the blueprint of the “five ecosystems,” infusing innovative elements into enterprise development, and providing robust support for industrial transformation and upgrading. The Institute stands ready to join hands with Shijiazhuang University to carry out practical cooperation in areas such as shared R&D team building, joint research on key technologies, and collaborative application for scientific research projects, making greater contributions to the high-quality economic and social development of the provincial capital.
Directors from the Office of Scientific Research, the School of Chemical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering, the School of Future Information Technology, and the School of Geographical Science and Environmental Studies introduced their respective schools’ academic characteristics and research advantages, engaging in in-depth discussions on potential areas of collaboration, including drones, robotics, cyber-security, and biomedicine.
Prior to the symposium, Wang Yongqin and her delegation visited the exhibition hall of the Hebei University of Technology Innovation Research Institute (Shijiazhuang), as well as shared laboratories such as the Data Simulation and Intelligent Computing Center, the Reliability Platform for Robotic Joint Modules and Electronical Channel Systems, and the Measurement and Control Center for Unmanned System Swarm Formation.
