Six Courses of Our University Approved as Provincial First-class Undergraduate Courses (Third Batch) in Hebei Province

Recently, the Department of Education of Hebei Province issued the Notice on Issuing the List of Approved Provincial First-class Undergraduate Courses (Third Batch) (Document No. Ji Jiao Gao Han〔2026〕30). Six courses recommended by our university have been recognized as provincial first-class undergraduate courses of the third batch, including oneonline first-class course, oneoffline first-class course, twoonline-offline blended first-class courses, onevirtual simulation experiment teaching first-class course, and onesocial practice first-class course.

Our university has always attached great importance to curriculum development. Fully implementing the Measures for the Administration of Undergraduate Curriculum Development of Shijiazhuang University, we actively respond to the national "Double Ten-Thousand Plan" for first-class undergraduate courses initiated by the Ministry of Education. Centered on student development, we benchmark against the criteria of higher-order thinking, innovation and challenge, continuously advance classroom teaching reform, strive to build high-quality "golden courses" and phase out inefficient "water courses". The successful approval of these provincial first-class undergraduate courses marks a major achievement of the university in deepening teaching reform and improving undergraduate education quality.

According to the "Notice of the Education Department of Hebei Province on Carrying out the Third Batch of Provincial First Class Undergraduate Course Selection and Recommendation Work" (Ji Jiao Gao Han (2026) No. 14), after recommendation by universities, expert review, and online publicity, a total of 391 provincial-level first-class undergraduate courses have been identified for project construction (Attachment 1), including 78 online first-class undergraduate courses, 77 offline first-class undergraduate courses, 132 blended online and offline first-class undergraduate courses, 50 virtual simulation experimental teaching courses, and 54 social practice first-class undergraduate courses.The name list are as follows:

Up to now, the university boasts onenational first-class undergraduate course, 21 provincial first-class undergraduate courses and 112 university-level first-class undergraduate courses, laying a solid foundation for the development of first-class undergraduate courses.
