Shijiazhuang University Students Achieve Excellent Results in the 2nd Hebei Provincial Normal University Students’ Teaching Skills Innovation Competition
Recently, the 2nd Hebei Provincial Normal University Students’ Teaching Skills Innovation Competition, hosted by the Department of Education of Hebei Province and organized by Hebei Normal University, came to a successful conclusion. The delegation from Shijiazhuang University delivered an outstanding performance. Yang Xiangyi from the School of Teacher Education, supervised by Ms. Chai Yuqing, and Hou Boying from the School of Marxism, supervised by Ms. Hu Kefei, both won the Second Prize. Lang Xinran from the School of Chemical Engineering, supervised by Mr. Zhang Shuaitong, won the Third Prize. The university was also honored with the “Excellent Organization Award”,fully demonstrating the solid professional competence and excellent teaching practice abilities of Shijiazhuang University’s normal students.
The competition covered more than 20 undergraduate institutions across the province. After multiple rounds of selection, 46 contestants ultimately advanced to the on-site finals. The finals comprehensively assessed the contestants’ teaching design, classroom management, and on-the-spot responsiveness through simulated classroom teaching sessions and expert Q&A sessions. With the meticulous guidance of their supervising teachers, the participating students from Shijiazhuang University closely aligned with core subject competencies, integrated information technology tools, and innovated their classroom presentations, earning high recognition from the judges.
